Our mission at Ascender magazine is to provide a practical, thought provoking publication that delivers articles and interviews to enlighten aspiring artist, entertainers and entrepreneurs in the art's and entertainment industries . The information and experiences covered in this publication will help them reach their individual and collective goals in the areas of music, film, theatre, fashion, art, dance, photography and business.
We at Ascender believe strongly that there is a need for a new and innovative media voice, one that is represenative and empathetic to the causes of a multicultural, multitalented generation who's skill-sets are cross genre. We stand firm in our belief that print media can exist in a developmental format, that does not practice tabloid media like tactics to experience editorial success. We will champion that belief by introducing editorial content that icludes fact filled, useful information that challenges the mind and makes better artist and professionals in the process.
These stories are those of successful, ambitious, and up and coming individuals, their stories represent courage, adversity conquered, and perseverance in their never ending quest for fame. Artist and entertainers will acquire industry knowledge in their respective areas of interest, and will have a vehicle for local and national exposure. Professionals in the entertainment and media industries will benefit from this publication by being able to discover new and exciting talent, assess their current position in the marketplace and tap into their decision process.
